Dynamic Strategic/Tactical Planning

Targeted Audience: Individual Organization’s Board of Directors and/or Leadership
Program Description: Most non-profit organizations are either great at strategic planning or one-year planning, but not both. This program will provide insight on how to create a Dynamic Strategic Plan (3 to 10 years out) and a Tactical Plan (1 to 3 years) to ensure the long range and short range success of the organization.
Program Goals/Objectives/Outcomes:
- To provide organizations with the ability to create dynamic strategic and tactical plans that cause funders and donors to buy into your vision and direction
- To understand the importance of creating a clear, short, and concise vision statement and its impact on making the rest of the strategic and tactical plans fall into place
- Work through the initial steps of: creating a vision and mission statement, determining stretch but realistic strategic goals/performance metrics to be accomplished, and developing a starter list of strategies and actions plans around the goals
- Develop the internal ongoing strategic plan champions who will continue to develop and refine the organization’s strategic and tactical plans
- Set the three month and six month strategic planning dates to review progress and obtain feedback on the initial strategic and tactical plans
- Use the train the trainer approach throughout the program to ensure complete understanding and transfer of strategic and tactical planning knowledge
Program Value: $3,000 per organization
Program Fee: $350 per organization
Maximum number of participants: 10 organizations and up to 20 individuals per organization
