Fayetteville Public Library

Fayetteville Public Library staff is highly qualified to provide instructional and one-on-one training to local nonprofits. Michele Raine, Heather Robideaux, and Kelly Haley have attended intensive training at a Foundation Center regional library, and all librarians working with the Nonprofit Resource Center regularly attend online and regional nonprofit training opportunities to hone their instructional skills. Through these opportunities, library staff continues to gain the knowledge necessary to provide innovative and relevant training to local nonprofits. All of the librarians working with the Nonprofit Resource Center have strong backgrounds in research and public service, resulting in richer experiences for individuals seeking funding through the complex Foundation Center databases and materials available at the library.

Perhaps the most compelling qualification is the Nonprofit Resource Center's three years of successful programming and instructional guidance that has been made available for free to local nonprofits. These free programs have benefited over 750 individuals representing over 100 Northwest Arkansas nonprofits. With continued staff development and training along with a history of successful programming, FPL is leveraged as a highly qualified training resource for nonprofits of Northwest Arkansas.
