Nonprofit Resource Center @ FPLFacilitating Organization and Name of Facilitator: Fayetteville Public Library staff Location: Fayetteville Public Library Day of Week, Date, and Time: Targeted Audience: Program Description: Are you looking to find all the resources you need as a fundraiser or nonprofit board member in one place? Do you wish there were quality workshops targeted to the special needs of nonprofit staff? The Nonprofit Resource Center @ FPL hosts a Foundation Center Cooperating Collection, which provides support through access to the Foundation Directory Online Professional, a powerful database that searches 98,000 foundations, corporate giving programs, and grant-making public charities in the U.S., nearly 3,500 corporate funders, and over 1.7 million recently awarded grants. The Nonprofit Resource Center also provides access to current books and magazines in the field, quality workshops, and trained staff who make research assistance to nonprofits a priority. Program Goals/Objectives/Outcomes:
Program Value: $150 per agency Program Fee: There is no cost associated with accessing the collection. Nonprofit staff who live outside Washington County will receive a free library card with presentation of IRS Determination Letter. Maximum number of participants: Unlimited access to Cooperating Collection materials, and unlimited simultaneous access to database materials from inside the building.
